Use of this website, six services offered and content presentedconstitutes acceptance by the customer to accept these terms and conditions of use. www.libreriamilitareares.it (website) including all its features and related content, is a service made available by Ares Military Bookstore, a public benefit corporation that provides military content books to public and private institutions and informed consumers with a direct-to-consumer e-commerce solution that is competitive with that of major retailers. All content, information, services, text, photographs, video, audio, graphics, and software ordered or provided on or through the Web Site, inclusive, (collectively, “Content”) may be used only under the following Terms and Conditions of Use. By using the Web site, you are deemed to have accepted, performed, and are bound by the terms of these Terms of Use.
Ares Military Bookstore may modify these Terms of Use at any time at its sole discretion. If Ares Military Bookstore makes any substantive changes or amendments to these Terms of Use, it will notify Users by posting such changes or amendments on the Website, these changes or amendments will take effect automatically upon their posting.

FAQ - Frequently asked questions
For all books, you can use the Search bar present at the top of all pages of the site: the search results will be all the more precise the more words you enter to locate the product. The search function helps you find what you're looking for as you type, thanks to the suggestions that appear in the drop-down menu that activates as you type.
Furthermore, again by logging in from the top bar of the site, you can also choose to use the Search by category which gives you the possibility to filter your search in great detail through over 70 primary categories
Instead, on the shop page (shop) you can select books through various filters that work together: author, publisher, year of edition, status of the book, rarity, title).
If you want to search in a category, you can select the category you want on the bar available at the top. Once the search is completed, browse freely within our proposals, or select the department of your interest in the left column, or click on any of the titles found and you will have access to the book file containing all the useful information: price , discount, availability, publisher and more details.
If you decide to order a book, click on the Add to Cart button.
Once the phase of selecting the books to be purchased has been completed, the order of all the contents of the cart can be confirmed using the button

Ci riserviamo di accettare pagamenti a mezzo bonifico qualora a richiederli sia la Pubblica Amministrazione o per casi particolari.

Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard-Eurocard and Postepay credit cards are accepted. Other credit cards such as: American Express and Diners are currently not usable.
Your credit card will be charged only when your order is ready for shipment and only for the items actually present in the package. If an order contains titles that have proved to be untraceable because they are no longer available from the supplier, the amount of these items will be deducted from the sum indicated at the time of sending the order and confirming the order, if you have chosen to partially terminate the contract.

For the purchase of physical products, in the event that the charge is not successful, Libreria Militare Ares will not carry out the shipment. We will send you an e-mail to inform you that, if the payment problem is not resolved positively within 7 days of communication, the order will be automatically canceled.
In the case of an order for digital products, if the charge is not successful, an immediate cancellation will be made.
If you choose this form of payment after clicking on Payment you will be directed to the PayPal site where you can complete the payment procedure by entering your email address and your PayPal password.
Your financial data will not be shared with Libreria Militare Ares, but will be managed directly by PayPal.
ATTENTION: your PayPal account will be charged only when your order is ready for shipment and only for the items actually present. If an order contains titles that have proved to be untraceable because they are no longer available from the supplier, the amount of these items will be automatically deducted from the sum indicated at the time of order registration.
Important: for the purchase of physical products, if the charge is not successful, Libreria Militare Ares will not ship them. We will send you an e-mail to inform you that, if the payment problem is not resolved positively within 10 days of communication, the order will be cancelled. In the event that the charge is not successful on digital products, an immediate cancellation will be made.
Libreria Militare Ares uses the secure payment service of Stripe and PayPal which involve the use of the TLS (Transport Layer Security) security protocol: your data is encrypted and transmitted to the payment manager. Libreria Militare Ares does not store your credit card data, except for the last four digits and the expiry date of the credit card that you will link to your account.

The following paragraph dedicated to shipping rates shows the shipping rates in force for all books purchased and shipped by Libreria Militare Ares and the relative average delivery times.
If you wish to check the traceability of an order shipped on the courier's website, you can use the following information:
- access the Orders page: search for the order you are interested in and click on Details. With reference to the status, you will find the information Shipped and the Track the package link which will direct you to the courier's website.
- Alternatively, in the shipping confirmation email you will have a link to track your package.
Deliveries abroad are made by express courier and the rate is calculated starting from a fixed cost per order (variable according to the geographical area of shipment) to which a variable amount calculated as a percentage of the price of the items purchased will be added. This percentage varies according to the geographical area of destination. The following paragraph dedicated to Delivery rates shows the shipping rates in force for all items purchased from Libreria Militare Ares and the relative average delivery times.
Attention: any customs or import charges will be charged when the package reaches the country of destination. These costs are the responsibility of the recipient. Libreria Militare Ares has no control over these expenses, which can vary significantly from country to country. For more information, we advise you to contact the customs authorities of the country of destination.
If you choose this type of shipment, the package will be delivered to you by courier in 3-4 working days. In the event of non-delivery due to the recipient's absence, the courier will leave a notice of passage with the shipment's references.
The courier may make a second delivery attempt. If the second attempt is unsuccessful, the package will be deposited at the courier's branch and will be available for collection within 5 calendar days, starting from the day following the date of the notice of passage.

The expected delivery date is indicated in the purchase procedure and in the order confirmation email, it is calculated considering the availability of the items ordered and the chosen shipping method. Delivery times are calculated as follows:
Availability time + Shipping time = Total delivery time
Example 1: if an item is indicated as Immediate availability and you have chosen fast shipping (1-2 days), the total time required to receive your order will be a couple of working days at most.
Example 2: if an item is marked Available in 3 days and you have chosen standard shipping (3-4 days), the total time required to receive your order will be approximately one week.
Shipment is only made when the entire order is complete.
For example, if the same order includes an item available in 2 days and one available in 2 weeks, the shipment will be made when both products are present in our warehouses.
Items on reservation
In the case of orders containing reserved items, the order will be shipped only when the reserved article has entered the market.
Availability times
The items indicated with Immediate availability are already present in our warehouses. For all other items, the availability times indicated are the average times needed by Ares Military Library to find the item in question. Especially for products with availability times exceeding one week, the times are indicative: in any case Libreria Militare Ares will keep you updated via email in the event the estimated times should be significantly delayed.
No. All shipments are made by courier. Libreria Militare Ares entrusts its deliveries to shipping companies that operate throughout the national territory and which carry out deliveries throughout the day according to their own organizational logic and on which Libreria Militare Ares has no power to intervene. You will therefore have to indicate an address where someone is always present to collect the package. If there isn't always someone at your home who can sign the delivery receipt, we advise you to indicate a different address, for example a house with a concierge, an office, a shop.
Alternatively, during the order process, you can add a new delivery address or select a Collection point. You can also change the address after confirming the order by entering the Orders section.
If the purchased items are not delivered within the period specified in the purchase procedure and in the order confirmation, check the status of your orders by accessing the Orders page, where you will have the possibility to follow the package during its journey: in case of problems, you can contact our assistance, which will check the situation through the courier in charge of the delivery and you can indicate a new delivery term that is more convenient for you.
In any case, Ares Military Library undertakes to notify you of the delay in delivery via email.
